These are in no particular order but whenever each of these songs comes on I’m just instantly psyched. Wild Eyes – Parkway drive, The Crimson – Atreyu, Torn Between Scylla and Charybdis- Atreyu, Raise Your Horns – Amon Amarth, Brighter Side of Suffering – As Blood Runs Black. Then an honorable mention for A Match Into Water – Pierce The Veil, but I’m not sure if this quite makes it into metalcore or not. There are so many songs I want to put here but its tough to just pick 5! Sorry for the formatting, I’m on mobile. It is really hard to pick only 5 but I will give it a shot! I don’t understand the logic behind retiring certain bands. If a band gets posted repeatedly won’t people eventually stop upvoting (or even downvote) from fatigue? And if they do continue to upvote, then obviously those people are still enjoying the music. I don’t see the harm. Maybe implement a rule requiring a submission to have not been already posted in the last week/month/year instead. Or have flairs for popular bands so people can filter them out if they’re tired of seeing them. If someone was new to this genre and came to check out this sub they would Top Polaris But Did You Die Vintage Shirt miss out on a ton of good music because a lot of the good bands are retired. We’re not going to have the same user base forever.

Then again I wasn’t here to see this sub before these rules so I wouldn’t really know how bad it really was. No, they wouldn’t, because we can direct a new user to the sidebar and say “Hey! Check out all these bands in the Hall of Fame, they’re some of the most popular and well-revered here.” We actually renamed the ‘Blacklist’ to the ‘Hall of Fame’ so that new users can now look at it as a good starting point for the genre. It sucks cuz they’re not a legacy band so people outside of the sub don’t automatically recognize them, and I’m sure so many people have gotten into Top Polaris But Did You Die Vintage Shirt them because of posts on this sub.
