Thanks for this post OP. So my main concerns are gonna be regarding sharing an island with my GF. So we share the same switch, and she is the founder of our island. We’re both at about the same progress level, like 30 minutes in. However, I saw a post that said that my progress is dependent on hers. This guy posted about how his wife wasn’t able to get a recipe for an ax and progress until he (the founder of the island) asked Timmy about it on his playthrough. I’m really hoping this is not the case for the whole game and I can just play the Nice Thank You To Those Who Run Towards The Danger Shirt game separately and not so codependent on her progress.

Hmm yeah, that does sound annoying. After that though, I’m wondering if our two accounts can kind of coexist on the island without one depending too much on the other? I’m hearing stories of tools and things that one person can’t get until the main account gets it, I guess that’s my main concern. Sorry if you had explained your situation in your post, I glossed over it as I am avoiding spoilers. But can I ask how you know that this is the case? For anyone thinking about getting a new switch as being the Nice Thank You To Those Who Run Towards The Danger Shirt second profile seems a bit lacking, is it worth sticking it out and waiting a week?

So what your saying is you can unlock everything in the first week, not that after a week all players get full access? If Player 1 on my console only plays 2 days this week will I have full access at the end of the week? Or do they literally have to unlock everything before I can use it? I don’t want to play a pre unlocked sandbox I want to actually play the game. This is garbage that they won’t let both players make progress. I shouldn’t have to wait for player 1 to actually play the Nice Thank You To Those Who Run Towards The Danger Shirt game while I just buy all the stuff and don’t actually play. What trash.
