The office of Awesome BBQ Beer Freedom Ugly Christmas Sweat Shirts the president is supposed to be able to proactively do very little new things. Congress is where new things are supposed to go, and the president’s power is to stop a bill created by Congress from becoming law if that seems the right thing to do. He’s supposed to prevent some things from getting done rather than to do things, by design. I’m torn on this. I didn’t take any student loans. I went to bed early on “Thirsty Thursdays”, Fridays and Saturdays so I could get up and go to work. Now, I am all for affordable education. There needs to be reformed… some version of forgiveness for certain situations. Also, the fact that student loan debt gets passed to the family if you die is a tragedy and needs to change.
