This Air BnB is owned by a family that owns the vineyard. They offer a free wine tour of the facilities and wine tasting. The house is in the middle of the vineyard, it’s literally your back yard. The people were very friendly and tried to accommodate us for everything. I definitely recommend them. The house we stayed at was for eight people but I know that the owner more properties and they might have another house on Airbnb that you can stay at. Greve in Chianti is a small town, I recommend just walking and exploring this town. One of the highlights that I do recommend from there was this restaurant called Cantina Pizzeria Ristorante. It’s also owned by a local family that runs the restaurant they were very welcoming to us and the food was amazing. Note that in Italy the restaurants have like six courses and you’re expected to stay there for like 6 hours as you go through all the meals. The pasta dish that I had there which I found really good was called Penne Speak. I think for me the biggest part about traveling is the people, and I felt like Italians were really unfriendly in general, and in some cases rude. Especially in Rome, which is understandable, they get hordes of tourists. It was relatively dirty and we got cheated by a couple of restaurants we went to in Rome, which I supposed was our fault for not researching, but it was not something I expected from Italy. Florence was pretty nice, the same thing regarding the people but less so. The Tuscany region was much much friendlier, and they had really good food. It made me love the place for the 3 days we were there, but my experience was soured quite a bit from mainly Rome. We were traveling for quite a bit and everywhere we’ve been people have been great, so Top Support Your Local Street Cats Raccoon Sunset Shirt I suppose Italy was just quite a stark difference, which is why it stood out to be a little more. If I go there again, I’ll try Southern Italy or smaller towns.
