Maybe I’m just being Top Goya Come and Take It Shirt naive, but I saw a distinction here. It’s one thing for him to attend the White House, just like he did with Obama, it’s another to be so tone-deaf as to say “we are all truly blessed to have Trump”. I would think like a CEO his main obligation is to his company and therefore its shareholders AND customers, which his failure to realize here. Yeah if you watch the video it is cringeworthy. I am willing to bet if the CEO had dialed it back he may have gotten away with it.

If he dialed it way back, he wouldn’t have gotten the illegal product placement shots. I follow lots of conservatives and they are suddenly flocking to buy Goya products to own the libs. I suspect the bulk of these will be one-time purchases that will sit in pantries for years before being discarded.I’m in Texas, everyone at least likes TexMex so this food will be eaten once a Top Goya Come and Take It Shirt year when they feel like making taco Tuesday extra authentic. Goya’s board will fire him within the year as I am sure their sales are going to crater. The company has no moat whatsoever.
